EPA has developed a Reference for WaterSense Labeled Homes,  here are items required to maintain efficiency and verification associated with specific groups of stakeholders – Builders, Verifiers, Tradespeople and Utilities & Local Governments. Bathroom Faucet Aerators maximum flow rates 1.0-1.2 gpm. Kitchen Faucets 1.5 & 1.8 gpm. Showerheads must be WaterSense Labeled maximum flow rate 2.0 gpm. Leak Detection - Toilet leak test protocol dye tablet verify the requirements as part of the mandatory checklist for WaterSense labeled homes. No Visable leaks from toilets by conducting a dye test.
