Willy, formally known as Willing Water, was a mascot introduced by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) in the late 1940s to raise public awareness about the vital community services provided by member water utilities.

Also known as Willie, the mascot represented the “spirit of water service” and starred in Association and member advertising, publicity photos and bill inserts across the United States, often with the slogan, “Water at Your Service.” 

Willing offered helpful water-saving tips and appeared in numerous water sector publications, including a comic book and a cookbook, until his retirement in 1990.

What I thought would be an easy purchase turned out to require intensive online detective work to find a U.S. supplier that would not require me to buy in bulk. My inquiry to NRG was handled personally (and unexpectedly) by its president, Bill Wales, who quickly identified the part, provided the pricing and executed the transaction himself. The value Mr. Wales obviously places on excellent customer support certainly distinguishes NRG. I highly recommend this company and will do business with it again whenever needed.

Our door sweeps install easily for great DIY weatherization. Door sweeps help reduce drafts, dust, and pests year round. They help make your home more energy efficient and comfortable. 

To Install the Sweeps: Unroll the sweeps and let them uncoil. The sweeps will work when applied to the door, even if they are not completely straight (applying them to the door will help straighten them out). Measure the door and if necessary, cut the sweep to fit (the sweeps are 36" long and fit most standard doors). Next, clean the bottom of the door, sanding if necessary. Once the door is dry and clean, peal back the white stripe on the door sweep, and then apply the sweep. Press the sweep to the door and if needed, apply tacks or nails to the sweep to help keep it in place.
